Camera access is requested only when you enable "Reality Background" modes (Blurred Reality or Clear Reality).

How Camera Data is Used

  • Local Processing Only: Camera feed is processed entirely on your device
  • No Recording: Video/photos are never saved or recorded
  • No Transmission: Camera data never leaves your device
  • No Storage: No camera frames are stored to disk
  • Real-Time Only: Used solely for live display behind glyph animations

How to Disable

You can disable camera access at any time:

  1. Turn off "Reality Background" in app settings, or
  2. Go to iOS Settings → GlyphRain → Camera → Disable

What We Store Locally

  • Animation speed preference
  • Glyph density setting
  • Blur intensity preference
  • Parallax/zoom/pan toggles
  • Saved presets

Where Stored

All preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data:

  • Never leaves your device
  • Is not backed up to iCloud
  • Is deleted when you uninstall the app

Third-Party Services

GlyphRain does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Security

Since we don't collect data, there's no data to secure. All processing happens locally on your device.

Children's Privacy

GlyphRain does not knowingly collect information from anyone. The app is safe for all ages.
